The Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Usmonzoda Khairiddin held a meeting with experts of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It should be worth noting that IPIS’s most experts are Iranian former ambassadors in foreign countries.
Khayriddin Usmonzoda addressed before audience on the 30 years of domestic and foreign policy of Tajikistan under the leadership of the President of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
He highly appreciated the prominent role of the His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the leader of our nation, in the socio-economic development of the country, the relations between Tajikistan and Iran, and the peaceful, tested policy and good neighborliness of Tajikistan.
It was emphasized that Tajikistan established mutually beneficial diplomatic cooperation with foreign states and international organizations on the basis of its open doors policy. The UN member states and other International organizations have recognized the international initiatives of Tajikistan in preventing and solving problems related to water and climate change.
During his address regarding the fight against transnational threats and challenges, including terrorism and extremism, he noted that Tajikistan is one of the active and leading countries in the fight against these threats. Therefore, the countries of the world have recognized Tajikistan as their reliable partner.
The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere.
